Abstract
As dermatological topical preparations formulated therein melanin production inhibitors which, unlike the conventional melanin production inhibitors, are stable with respect to heat and oxidation and which do no cause decomposition or pigmentation over time when added to topical agents, hydroquinone-.alpha.-D-glucopyranoside, which shows superior inhibitory activities on human tyrosinase, is added as a melanin production inhibitor.
