Abstract
A method of generating a graphic on fabric includes providing a sheet of heat settable adhesive, preferably a clear urethane heat transfer adhesive, having first and second oppositely facing surfaces. The second surface is supported on a sheet of backing material. Ink forming a graphic is applied to the first surface of the adhesive. Unused adhesive, if any, adjacent to the graphic is removed if necessary or desired. The adhesive carrying the graphic is placed into contact with the fabric, and the adhesive carrying the graphic is heated above a setting temperature of the adhesive while in contact with the fabric so as to permanently affix the graphic to the fabric.
