Abstract
The invention relates to a method of optically brightening natural or synthetic materials with aqueous brightener preparations containing (a) 15 to 85% by weight of at least one water-soluble optical brightener, and (b) optionally 85 to 15% by weight of water, wherein the temperature of the preparation is 40 to 98.degree. C.
