Disclosed is an information terminal with a built-in fingerprint recognizer for verifying a user's fingerprint and permitting the user to use the information terminal according to a verified result, wherein the information terminal comprises a liquid crystal display (LCD) with a backlight and a thin film transistor (TFT) fingerprint reader, which is incorporated with the LCD, for reading the user's fingerprint, such that the portable phone is reduced in size thereof, it is easier to perform a fingerprint reading, and the external appearance becomes graceful.
