Abstract
A spring manufacturing device includes an input shaft having a passage defined therethrough for a wire extending and a first gear is fixedly mounted to the input shaft and driven by a first servo motor. A second gear is freely mounted to the input shaft and driven by a second servo motor. A box having two pairs of rollers is connected between the input shaft and an output shaft and the wire is rolled forward by the rollers. A first auxiliary gear is co-axially is co-rotatably connected to the second gear and drives the rollers on the box. The auxiliary gear is driven by a third servo motor. The input shaft and the output shaft are rotated independently from the box.
