Abstract
A swing arm assembly reduced in the number of the component parts, facilitated in its assembly, and can be expected in the reduction of the manufacturing cost thereof and thus providing a hard disk drive device of lower cost. A swing arm assembly comprising, a support member made of a shaft 12 vertical to a casing base 7a of a hard disk drive device, inner rings 13a, 14a disposed around the sport member, and outer rings 13b, 14b surrounding the inner ring member with interposing upper and lower rows 8, 9 of balls therebetween, wherein the swing arm 2 is fit and secured at its base hole 2a around the outer peripheral surface of the outer ring member.
