Abstract
A counter-sheave device for traction cable transportation systems running on guide sheaves is described. In accordance with the present invention the device comprises a spring loaded support (2) and a sheave (4) arranged in a plane in which is located at least one near guide sheave on the side opposite the cable in relation to the near guide sheave and sprung means (5) acting between the support (2) and the sheave (4) in the direction of loading of the sheave on the cable.
