Abstract
The disclosure describes a method in an electronic device. The electronic device comprises a memory, a communication unit, and a processor configured to control the communication unit to establish a network connection with a server after storing a image file in the memory, control the communication unit to transmit a image file to the server from the electronic device after establishing the network connection with the server, obtain a link information for downloading the image file from the server after establishing the network connection with the server, and after establishing the network connection with the server, replace the image file with a lower resolution image corresponding to the image file in the memory based at least on a memory capacity available in the memory.
